Sechelt's Tropical Paradise is situated in a newer subdivision called West Sechelt. Situated between the Sechelt Inlet and the Pacific Ocean, it's notably called, " the land between two waters" Located on a hillside, this home enables gorgeous views of the Strait of Georgia, the night lights of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island and to the south, Mount Baker Washington USA with its year long snow peak. Look above and be mesmerized by the Eagles and Blue Herons soaring on thermals. We recently found that both species nest just blocks away. The 2500 square foot, south-facing view home has been architecturally designed to capture spectacular, postcard ocean views and sunsets in all weather conditions.
The Main floor suite is engulfed in tropical plants - banana trees, figs, apples and chestnut trees are among the rhododendrons, camellia and hydrangea flowers. A 1500 gph waterfall excites the KOI fish in the two tier night lit pond under a large 12inch flowering Arbutus tree, indigenous to the area.
The main floor 2 bedroom suite has stained concrete floors and an in-suite laundry for your convenience. Enjoy a new beautiful living room overlooking lush terraced gardens with a lighted waterfall and ponds of Koi.
The warm and welcoming interior features a collection of photographs from the area along with Coast Salish artwork and marine artifacts
